A dashboard that mixes open envelopes with finished ones makes both harder to find. The thing still waiting on a signature looks the same as the thing that was signed last week.
Documents that are fully signed now sit in a finalized list. Ones still in progress stay in their own place. You can open the finished agreements without scrolling through requests that are not done, and you can work the open ones without the completed file sitting in the same list.
A document moves to the finalized list when signing is complete. Until then it stays with the work that is still moving.
