Two people editing the same contract at once produce two drafts. Redlining in Formable is turn based so that does not happen.
One side edits, then sends the draft. The other side takes the next turn. Each round belongs to one party. When they send it, the turn passes.
If it is not your turn, the editor stays closed. You see that the draft is with the other side, instead of opening a document you cannot safely change. When the turn comes back, the editor opens for you.
The rounds are the record of who had the draft and when they sent it on. Negotiation moves one party at a time, and the document only has one open editor.
